Alphacool hat gleich einen ganzen Schwung an aktiven Backplates für die Geforce RTX 3080/3090 vorgestellt. Mit dieser lässt sich in Zusammenspiel mit Alphacool’s Eisblock Aurora Acryl/Acetal Kühler oder der Eiswolf 2 GPU nun auch die Rückseite der Grafikkarten kühlen
Der Hersteller deckt dabei gleich neun unterschiedliche Designs ab. So gibt es die aktive Backplate für das Referenzdesign, die Founders Edition und sieben Grafikkarten im Custom-Design von ASUS, EVGA, MSI und Gigabyte

Mit der Backplate soll es insbesondere möglich sein den rückseitigen Grafikspeicher der Geforce RTX 3090 zu kühlen. Für die Übertragung der Wärme sind 7W/mk Wärmeleitpads zuständig. Genau wie in dem Eisblock Aurora sind auch in der aktiven Backplate adressierbare digitale RGB LEDs eingelassen. Als Material verwendet man vernickeltes Kupfer und Acryl. Zu Steuerung wird ein JST 3-Pin Anschluss genutzt.
Ebenso wird ein MCX 2x Verteiler mit 1m 5/3mm mit Schlauch angeboten, der den Einsatz platzsparender macht.
